Inside a Session

How a class unfolds

1

Prayer & warm-up

Every class opens with a salutation to the earth and guru, then loosening the body for the work ahead.

2

Adavus & technique

Drilling the foundational steps with precise rhythm, posture and araimandi until they become instinct.

3

Items & abhinaya

Working through repertoire — building expression, storytelling and musicality piece by piece.

4

Reflection

A closing salutation and gentle feedback, so each dancer leaves knowing the next step on their path.
